I have a hooked front sprocket on the Versys and have now got a new one to go on. Problem is I can't get the old one off, even with a 3 foot breaker bar.

Has anyone got access to an air compressor and gun that could undo it? I don't know any garages well enough to be cheeky to ask for the use of one. I can ride the bike to wherever it is and do the nut up manually until I get home to swap them over.

Ming,

I can recommend a garage off of old mill road they have sorted out a few stubborn bolts for me, done some tig welding on the vs exhaust and welded up the XS stand pretty well - or if it's rounded nut I have some sockets that may help. They normally charge a tenner for homers - they are ll bike fans.
